Molinos Family Summary
The oldest relative with the Molinos surname registered in our database as of 2022 is Vicente Molinos Moliner married to María Escruela Traver. In 1788 María and her brother Lorenzo jointly inherited the Masía de los Frailes including the Roman ruins. 1 in Forcall, one of the villages of Morella, Castellón, Spain, founded in the 13th century and where people with the surnames Molinos, Giner and Gil were registered in 1554.
Since 1820 Liborio Molinos Escorihuela with Felipa Prats Borrás, from Mas de Farinetes de Morella, they generate the brothers Vicente, Pascuala and Manuela Molinos Prats.
In 1836, Vicente Molinos Prats, heir of Mas de Liborio (ex Frailes), married with Miguela Giner of the Masia El Huergo on the banks of the Santolea Reservoir. His sister, Pascuala Molinos Prats, marries with Manuel Blasco Ejarque of Mas de Blasco. Manuela Molinos Prats generates the branch that eventually derives in Ismael Carbó Balaguer.
Liborio Molinos Giner inherits the Mas de Liborio. His daughters Miguela and Joaquina Molinos Ferrer originate the branches Mampel-Molinos, Martin-Molinos, Gil-Molinos.
From his son Liborio Molinos Ferrer derived the Obón-Polo and Obón-Molinos branches. Two priests come from the latter.
One of them, Javier Obón Molinos, did outstanding work in Ayacucho, Peru. outstanding work in Ayacucho – Peru..
In 1883 Antonio Molinos Giner emigrates to Chile where he generates three branches with sons, Molinos-Oyanedel, Molinos-Beltrán and Molinos-Ugarte. At the end of the 20th century, this last branch generated two families with sons and grandsons in the United States of America: Molinos-Hamm and Molinos-Lois.
These latter branches re-establish the contact with the family in Spain.
