This section provides easy access to select images that recall memorable encounters of our families in this region. It is not a substitute for a family album or social media.

Many of these images are also found in the Genealogies or Stories of this public site. We offer them here as an alternative entry point for those unfamiliar with the website and with little time to explore it.

Consistent with our Rules of Use , we have tried to protect the safety and privacy of living persons, and especially of minors. To do so, we have tried to exclude photos that are very recent or that contain many minors or many personally identifiable details. If you think that any image violates these principles or makes you uncomfortable, please contact the moderators listed in the family tree as soon as possible and in writing.

A good start.

This beginning is possible thanks to the great work of retrospectively collecting material by the descendants of the current adult Bühler generation in Chile. The family unity promoted by the Bühler-Kowoll sisters and their daughters, found fertile ground in the Ugarte family. This explains why there have been many meetings and friendships in common to both families.

In November 2023, contact was reestablished between the Chilean descendants of the two Bühler-Bosch brothers. Historical contact between the branches was gradually lost after the brothers died and due to geographical migrations, as explained here.

Over time, we hope to gather additional information and graphic material about meetings of the respective branches in Chile and hopefully, be able to include information about the descendant branches of Bühler-Bosch in Germany.
