Isidore Molinos(1795-1850), French architects named in Mc Millan Encyclopedia of Architects, built several public buildings.
One is the Eglise Paroissiale Saint Jean Baptiste (Rue Charles de Gaulle # 158) in 1827 and several other famous buildings
standing today. A drawing of a Jacques Molinos work now destroyed:
- Jacques grandchild, Leon Isidore, published in
1857 the first french work on metallic bridges. ( MOLINOS, L. & PRONNIER, C., Traité théorique et pratique
de la construction des ponts métalliques. 1857 This can be found in the Library of the US Congress).
- Vicente Molinos Prats (1820-1902) a farmer from Forcall, Spain discovers the romanic ruins within his farm, starts the Molinos Collection of artifacts and in
1876 attracts the interest of Nicolas Ferrer, dean of University of Valencia and Teodoro Llorente the Director of newspaper Las Provincias, to officialize and study the
