Family summary

In the farmhouses of El Huergo or Güergo and Mas de Blasco, families with the surnames Martín, Giner and Blasco mainly lived in the XVIII, XIX and XX centuries. The surnames Giner or Xiner and Blasco probably took root there previously. The surname Martín was introduced in El Huergo with the person of Blas Martín Espallargas, from Seno (Teruel), married to Bárbara Giner Asensio which came from her surname Giner de El Huergo and from her mother’s family from the farmhouse of the Asensio Tower in Bordón.

The surname Blasco took root in the Mas de Blasco, and there is news of him since Jerónimo Blasco, married with María Giner probably nativa of the nearby Masía de El Huergo. from them proceeded Manuel Blasco Ejarque, owner of the Mas or Masía, who married Pascuala Molinos Prats, born in the Mas de los Frailes del Forcall in 1836 and who was also rooted on her mother’s side with the Mas of Farinetes of Morella.
